Important Information About Our Service

& Other Ways provides an online platform connecting you with qualified prescribers and a GPhC-registered pharmacy for the purpose of obtaining prescription-only hair loss treatments.

We Are Not a Substitute for Your GP

The information and services provided through our platform are not intended to replace the advice of your GP or other qualified healthcare professional. If you have concerns about your health, you should consult your GP.

Our prescribers review your online health questionnaire to assess suitability for treatment. This is not a comprehensive medical examination. You should continue to see your GP for regular health check-ups.

Prescription Medications

The treatments we provide (finasteride and minoxidil) are prescription-only medications. They are only dispensed after a qualified prescriber has reviewed your health questionnaire and determined that treatment is appropriate for you.

All prescriptions are dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy partner:

Side Effects

All medications can cause side effects. Before starting treatment, you should read the Patient Information Leaflet included with your medication.

Common side effects of finasteride may include decreased libido and erectile changes. Common side effects of minoxidil may include scalp irritation.

If you experience any side effects, stop taking the medication and consult your GP.

Treatment Results

Hair loss treatment does not work for everyone. Results vary depending on the individual and extent of hair loss.

We do not guarantee specific results. Before and after images shown are real customers but are not a guarantee of what you will experience.

Most clinical studies show visible improvement in 6–12 months for those who respond to treatment.

Your Responsibility

  • When completing our health questionnaire, you must provide accurate and complete information. Providing false or incomplete information could result in you receiving treatment that is not safe for you.
  • You should not use our service if you have been advised by a doctor not to take finasteride or minoxidil.

Emergencies

Our service is not suitable for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E.

For non-emergency medical advice, contact NHS 111.
